This is his first solo album, since leaving the Animals. His keyboard work remains second to none. Some of the tracks, like , like Critic's Choice, have real rockin energy. Going' Down Slow is a particularly compelling rendition of an old blues standard, and shows that Price, at his best, covers a wide range of material.
