On the label of Side One the first 4 tracks marked with asterisk (*) as MONO:

1. Love Me Do *
2. Please Please Me *
3. From Me To You *
4. She Loves You *

whereas only the tracks (1) & (4) in MONO, but the tracks (2) & (3) are actually in STEREO,

The classic 1962-1966 (‘Red’) and 1967-1970 (‘Blue’) compilations first released in 1973 have been cut from the original analogue tapes (according to analog planet) and any ‘faux’ stereo mixes have been replaced with mono (using the mono box EQ). Given that the stereo vinyl reissues from 2012 were all from digital masters this is significant

1962-1966 (or the Red Album) is a compilation of The Beatles' greatest hits from 1962 to 1966. It was released with 1967-1970 (or the Blue Album), a compilation of their greatest hits from 1967 to 1970. The Beatles themselves participated in selecting the songs for inclusion, as well as the colours and pictures. The colour red was chosen as a tribute to one of their favorite football teams. Even though the group had had success with cover versions of songs, most notably with "Twist and Shout," which made #2 on the Billboard charts, only songs composed by The Beatles themselves were included. Songs performed by The Beatles as solo artists were also considered for inclusion, but like the cover songs, limited space resulted in this idea having to be abandoned. Popular songs such as "Do You Want To Know A Secret" and "I Saw Her Standing There" were omitted because they were only released as singles in the US, and not in the UK.

From 1966 (not 1965 as it says). In Hollywood, the Beatles tangle with crooked fortune-teller and magician, "The Lucky Wizard", who imprisons them in his crystal ball.
