"Analogue Productions have re-released it I.. The dynamics of this LP are really stunning, and if the music doesn't get your foot tapping your body temp has gone below room temperature. This kind of release reaffirms for me how much better vinyl can sound when it's done right..Simple blues music, with simple lyrics. Doesn't sound like a good recipe for a "five star" rated album, right?
The edge comes from MacLeod's passionate performance, which makes the tunes and the lyrics stick hard inside you head. This album puts MacLeod in the very short list of "the Blues Masters".( amazon customer)
