Sasha began singing from Nicos Providence rooftop in the fall of 2011. That afternoon, she and Nico performed Avalanchethe beginning of their collaborative, covers project. She has since sung at the Music Hall of Williamsburg, MoMA PS1 and is featured on CSA001-- the Prism.
Sasha was born and raised in Los Angeles, the middle of seven children: three brothers and three sisters. She has hyperacusis, a condition that causes ultrasensitive hearing. As a result, Sasha has developed a phobia of gunshots and balloons. She performs with her brother Theo in a band called Brother / Sister. She is the sister.
