Sounds like The 20/20 Experience goes further in its already-lofty ambitions than anyone thought. Questlove's commentary comes as a reaction to a review of the LP from The New York Times. He did believe the album was "OVERLY ambitious. like a LOT of ideas crammed into one," and felt a lot of the references and jump-off points could be lost on most of Timberlake's young fan base. While Questlove "love[s] the songs," he was a bit "worried on how [Timberlake would] cut the prime rib to feed to toothless babies," he "admire[d] the balls it took to make this record."

The first song “Pusher Love Girl” is a fun and appropriate start to the album. Timberlake is definitely back.

Much of the material takes influence from the proceeding LP

The retro R’n’B of lead single ‘Suit and Tie’ with its unmistakable soul and jazz tinges was a refreshing and alternative comeback.

The brass sections and R’n’B beatboxes, as trademark Timbaland, are prevalent throughout and it is these features that drive the album. On opener ‘Pusher Love Girl’, the funk beat is both unwinding and enthralling, and reminds the listener of Timberlake’s creativity.

‘Don’t Hold The Wall’ pounds a futuristic grime beat, reminiscent of his collabs on the first Shock Value LP, and is a dark and mysterious number that sounds rather cinematic in its proportions.

Justin Timberlake - Jay - Z - Suit and Tie

this song is lovely...it's kinda got that whole Amy Winehouse, Mayer Hawthorne, and Thicke vibe to it.

Justin Timberlake - Pusher Love Girl

Justin Timberlake - That Girl

this is really reassuring to see that it's still possible to hear a soulfoul song now that all the other mainstream rnb singers sold out to david guetta electro crap,
