Recorded and mixed at Zebra Ranch. Mastered at Euphonic Masters, and again for vinyl at Wayne Mastering Labs.

Legendary producer Jim Dickinson manages to capture the essence of the band's phenomenal live show perfectly in the studio. Every last drop of hard driving bourbon-soaked sweat is on tape. Ben Nichols, Roy Berry, John Stubblefield, and Brian Venable are the portrait of a band on the edge of themselves, so near to finding perfection in the imperfections of their own souls it's alarming. 'Nobody's Darlings' is a snapshot of rock n'roll in its purest form, the way it should be heard.

As they evolve more toward raw rock and away from their country leanings, Lucero return with another ass kicking album of raucous rockers and beer-soaked ballads. Nichols communicates longing and heartache with a gravelly force of nature voice that makes you almost smell the alcohol on his breath.

This is real music made by real artists. Nichols' gift for penning melody combined with the band's muscular delivery continues to astound.

This one is just really raw (Watch it Burn, Anjalee, And We Fell, Noon as Dark as Midnight, Last Night in Town) and pretty rockin'
