totally different coming from Parquet Courts but still super interesting if you like experimental music. If you don't like noise this one isn't for you.

Early issues of the EP were released with the note: "As much as anything the band has done in the past, this release is a statement as well. It's suggested you read the liner notes." The album's half-hour duration is meant to be listened to as a whole. There is a subtle humor in the album's makeup: incessant repetition, tracks that purposely overstay their welcome, and brief relapses of the familiar ensemble sound that eventually deconstruct into unbalanced noise. Although framed by humor and jest, this is an album that stands firmly on its own: a sonic statement of self-effacement
