Theres a poetic way to their lyrics which really show theyve given this EP some thought, this is clear from the start in Over Your Head which combined with the riff and melodies with it, works excellently on this EP, Safeguard also has this going on, working each layer perfectly, it really does show all the talent that is in this band, and thats pretty amazing considering this EP is only collectively about eleven minutes long.
The guitars are pretty epic throughout this EP, but its also produced excellently, and this really does show throughout every song, the guitars wouldnt be so clearly epic if it werent for the quality of the production values shown on this EP. Classic pop punk drum beats are thrown in with good measure and definitely give a great foundation for this record throughout.
This EP is a pop punk must own for 2015, and definitely worth checking out if you like bands such as Neck Deep and I wanna say The Wonder Years however Roam here are definitely making something of their own, and their own is excellent.
